Tamara Vardomskaya is a Canadian writer. Her short fiction has been published in Tor.com, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Over The Rainbow: Fairy Tales From The Margins (Exile Editions), and GigaNotoSaurus. Her stories "The Metamorphoses of Narcissus" and "The Three Dancers of Gizari" were selected for Best of Beneath Ceaseless Skies by editor Scott Andrews, in year five and year seven, respectively. She is currently working on a novel. A Clarion 2014 graduate, she holds a PhD in theoretical linguistics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in mathematics and linguistics from the University of Ottawa, and has worked as a linguist for Amazon Alexa and as an analyst in the nuclear electricity trading field. Other things she does besides writing include classical singing, quiz games, pastry-making, and dance.
