Danielle splits her time between writing and medicine. She specializes in Internal Medicine, Palliative Medicine, and how to use medical concepts plausibly in fiction. She has provided fictional-medicine consultation for a number of popular works including The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin, The Dark Apostle series by EC Ambrose, and Honey by Jenna Jameson and Hope Tarr. Her fiction can be found in Shimmer Magazine, Strange Horizons, and Flash Fiction Online, among other venues. She is currently revising her first novel.
