Hands-on demonstration of how books evolved. A discussion of the History of the Book from the early days of writing through the advent of printing, focusing on the development of the printing press and the transition from manuscript to print culture in Europe from 1450 to 1750, with the opportunity to touch and feel samples including real manuscripts and antique printed books from the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, and printing press components.
